SPECT imaging reconstruction Proposal of an algorithm which exploits the matrix structure

The reconstruction of diagnostic images obtained from SPECT (Single Photon Emission Computed Tomography) requires numerical models which involve structured matrices: Toeplitz and block circulant. In this note an algorithm is proposed, with the aim of exploiting the computational properties enjoyed by these structures.
